Frequently asked questions about Toika

What are Toika looms made of?
Finnish birch. The Liisa and Alvar have a solid birch frame, the Laila and Jaana are made of lacquered birch.

Standing beater or overhead beater?
For the Liisa and Eeva you choose at the same price. For rugs and dense fabrics that need a firm beat, the standing beater is better. For light fabrics such as fine scarves, the overhead beater is usually more comfortable.

Which Toika fits a small room?
The Laila and Alvar need little floor space, and the Anni folds to a depth of 35 cm. If you prefer weaving at a table, the Leena is the right choice.
