The Leclerc Artisat is a sturdy jack-type floor loom with a 90 cm weaving width, designed especially for weavers with limited studio space. Folded, it is only 36 cm deep, yet it folds completely even with a warp on the loom. The 4-shaft version with 6 treadles lets you weave any kind of cloth, from plain weave to twill, double weave, Bronson, or Leno. The Artisat can also be upgraded to 8 shafts at any time.

Models
4 shafts Jack-Type: The entry-level Artisat. Six treadles, full tie-up freedom, folds to just 36 cm deep.
8 shafts Jack-Type: Ten treadles for more complex structures. The modular design lets you upgrade from the 4-shaft model at any time.
8 shafts Back Hinge Treadles: Treadles anchored at the rear of the loom; a rocker mechanism ensures even cord tension at every treadle position. This gives a wider, cleaner shed for 6-shaft or more complex weaving, while keeping the folding feature.
Common questions
Can I fold the Artisat with a warp on?
Yes. That is what it was designed for. Both the 4-shaft and 8-shaft version fold to 36 or 43 cm respectively, even with weaving in progress.
Can I upgrade to 8 shafts later?
Yes. An upgrade kit lets you add 8 shafts to any 4-shaft jack version without sending the loom back.
