A loom for generations

This classic Swedish home loom has a long tradition. The open design and wide treads make it comfortable to work on. The basic model has 4 shafts and 6 treadles, but can be expanded to 16 shafts and 16 treadles.

This model has either a roller pulley or a countermarch (horizontal or vertical). The majority of countermarch buyers opt for the horizontal variant.

Additional features such as a quick-shot box (quick-shot device), extra warp beams, damask attachments and lighting can be added. A sectional warping attachment is also available.

Although Glimåka looms are delivered disassembled, they are easy to assemble as the wooden parts are traditionally wedged rather than screwed together.
