Functionality & Application
- Measuring yarn thickness: Wrap the yarn into the designated slot (1/2 inch or 1 inch) until it is full. The number of wraps determines the yarn thickness (wraps per inch).
- Determine the reed: Divide the number of wraps by 2 – this gives you the number of warp threads per cm or per inch. This allows you to quickly determine the appropriate reed.
