For attaching a second weaver's reed (also called a weaving reed, weaving comb or reed) to the Ashford Rigid Heddle loom. The second weaving comb holder is already included with the Ashford Rigid Heddle loom. Please select the desired weaving width and the preferred fineness of the weaving comb.

This rigid heddle reed made my weaving with thin yarn possible. I have bought my Ashford Rigid Heddle loom at Berliner Webstühle a few years ago, so it was a perfect choice for buying needed addition. My weaving looks perfect at this point and I am so satisfied with both the item, the comunication and "warp-speed" derivery.

Der Gatterkamm von Ashford ist qualitativ wie immer top. Das Weben mit zwei Gatterkämmen jedoch gestaltet sich doch nicht so einfach, wie ich es mir vorgestellt hatte, aber ggf. braucht es nur mehr Übung 😉.

I have a 60cm Kromski Harpe Forte Loom and wanted to weave with bulky yarns that did not fit with their largest 5 dent heddle rod. I read somewhere that the Ashford heddle rods are compatible with Kromski looms so I ordered the Ashford 2,5 dent heddle rod.
After weaving with it, I can say that Kromski's rods are superior in feel and of course fit, but then again the 2,5 dent Ashford rod was a satisfactory solution for weaving with very bulky yarns.
The shop's personnel were very prompt and professional with my order and I received the parcel (from Germany to Greece) in under 2 working days! I am very satisfied with the shop and highly recommend to weaving friends!
